The House of Hope

Kumpa's first and only 100% non-profit special education centre.

The House of Hope is a special needs centre based Kumpa - a rural Maasai village in Kajiado County, Kenya. Founded in 2017, the House of Hope is the only centre of its kind in the area, and offers a place of refuge, comfort, safety, and education to the children who attend.

Started by The Children of Maasai Educational Programme, the centre is 100% non-profit, and no child who attends is required to pay any fees.

Meet the Staff

Meet the Students

Hear the stories of some of our students and their families, and learn what their lives were like before the House of Hope opened, and the difference it has made.

Hear from our local and international staff, working toward making the future of our student's brighter every day. Learn how they became involved with the House of Hope, and what it means to them.

With thanks to our amazing partners
